Creativity for All Through Dance

As a professional dancer, trainer, choreographer, and instructor, one of Lia Kim’s goals was to open the world of dance to beginners. When she founded 1MILLION Dance Studio and launched its YouTube channel, she noticed that many viewers responded with “That dance looks so cool, but I’m scared to try something like that”. Many expressed fear in trying something so foreign to them. These responses inspired Lia to reexamine dance from the perspective of newcomers, and reformat dance education that empowered them to take their first steps into the dance world. (in Korean – subtitled in English).
